Athletic Program

Physical education classes are a requirement for all pupils.

Extra-curricular sports involve a significant portion of the student body.

Girls sports include soccer, volleyball, basketball, softball and cheer leading.

Boys sports include soccer, basketball, baseball, softball, track.

Sports programs are provided on the Varsity, Junior Varsity and Junior High levels.

Athletic League Membership

SCS had participated in the NY State Public High School Athletic Association, (Section 11), since 1995. Previously involved in the Private School Athletic Association; Independent Private & Parochial School Athletic Association; and Suffolk Christian School League.

Athletic Awards have included:

• 2000 Section XI SCS Sportsmanship First Place Award (Fall Season)
• 2000 National Soccer Coaches Association- Team Academic Award- Girls Soccer
• 1999 NYS Girls Soccer, Class D Final Four
• 1999 Section XI Girls Soccer S.E. Regional Class D Champions
• 1997 Girls Soccer, Section 11, Division IV, Big Two Champions
