Happy Time Pre-School

Happy Time Pre-School, a division of Smithtown Christian School, has been serving the community since 1972 and has maintained a high standard of excellence in its programs. Happy Time Pre-School is registered with the NYS Dept. of Education and our teaching staff are NYS certified. All staff members have been chosen because of their love for children and because of their experience in caring for young children.

Philosophy:
It is the distinct purpose of Happy Time Pre-School to provide an age-appropriate program of development while focusing on our Lord Jesus Christ in a loving and accepting enironment.

Admission:
Happy Time Pre-School offers 3 year old and 4 year old programs. To enter, a child must be 3 or 4 years of age prior to December 1st. In addition, your child must be fully toilet trained, and verbally able to express his or her needs.

4 year Old Program:

• 9:00-11:30AM
• 12:30-3:00PM

Curriculum:
Our carefully selected Discovery Units focus on a variety of topics that encourage curiosity and awareness about the world around us. As the school year progresses, these learning themes provide a wealth of opportunities to establish a love of learning and important readiness skills through literature, language development and fine and gross motor experiences.
