Spiritual Program

A particular feature of Christian education is the concept of Biblical integration in which all subjects are examined in the light of their relevance to Scripture. Introduction of God's Word to courses taught is not an additive, such as icing on a cake, but a method involving examination of each concept through a Biblical filter.

Specific teaching of Bible is provided in the curriculum of study for, all grades, Elementary K-6, and Secondary 7-12.

Weekly Chapel sessions are featured in which Christian leaders, local Pastors, Missionaries and National Leaders from various parts of the world participate. Chapel sessions are provided for both Elementary and Secondary levels.

Student Chaplains participate in leading Chapel sessions on the High School level.

Senior class students are called upon to address the student body in the conducting of devotional presentations at the start of the day via the P.A. system.

Elementary students participate in leadership roles during their Chapel sessions. The Worship Team, teacher directed class level presentations and special assembly events are part of the school year program.

Spiritual Emphasis Week

Spiritual Emphasis Week provides an opportunity provided for high school students to focus on their personal relationship to Christ during this time especially set-aside for this purpose. Young people are challenged to strengthen their commitment to Christ and are encouraged to take the initiative in their personal spiritual growth. Guest speakers are invited to participate and student worship team leaders and student chaplains undertake a key role.

Outreaches

Students' ministry outreaches are held at local Nursing Homes and Adult Care Centers. Special occasions arise when students support ministries as Samaritan's Purse and the Christmas ShoeBox Program. Food baskets for Thanksgiving and Christmas provide other opportunities for expressions of love for those less fortunate.

Members of the Music department dedicate their talents to the Lord by visits and performances at Nursing Homes as well as ministry for special occasions.

The goal of each activity is in keeping with the mission statement, "Educating Tomorrow's Christian Leaders Today!"
